Cheney Clinic and Injectable Narcotic Pain Medications

The Rockwood Cheney Clinic no longer administers injectable narcotic pain medications. We made this decision in conjunction with our Pharmacy services team and the Cheney providers in the interest of patient safety. This policy is already in place at all six Rockwood Urgent Care centers.

Your Rockwood Cheney Clinic providers and staff will continue to make every effort to provide you with the best possible care. Patients in need of injectable pain medication may be directed to regional hospital emergency rooms, where these medications may still be administered.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
