Pediatric Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Rockwood Clinic is conducting a research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug compared to a placebo (an inactive, look-alike pill) and an approved medication, in childred with major depressive disorder (MDD).

Your child may qualify for this study if they:

  • Are between 7-17 years old and generally healthy
  • Meet criteria for a diagnosis of major depressive disorder
  • Are able to swallow several capsules a day

Qualified participants will receive the following at no charge:

  • Study-related physical exams, labs and MDD testing
  • Study medications
  • Travel compensation
