Rockwood Clinic Research

Research Center

The Rockwood Clinic Research Center has been involved in research and clinical trials in Spokane since 1995. The Research Center provides clinical coordination service to Rockwood Clinic physicians and study sponsors interested in the research and development of new pharmaceutical and diagnostic therapies.

The purpose of clinical research projects is to prove that one method of treatment or therapy is as effective or superior to an existing method.  Many study patients have access to the newest therapies available while participating in the study.  They also meet with their study doctor and coordinator on a regular basis to discuss their treatment.

As a research volunteer, study patients receive study-related exams, tests and medication at no cost plus are reimbursed for time and travel. Research provides further opportunity for prevention, education and management of diseases that may benefit patients and loved ones.
