Rockwood clinic offers a valuable new approach to the evaluation and treatment of patients with cancer of the bladder, kidney, penis, prostate, or testes. This multispecialty disease specific clinic is comprised of a group of highly specialized providers within the Rockwood Health System. Dr. Kirk Lund (medical oncology), Dr. Giju Nair (urologic surgery), and Dr. Robert Pfeffer (radiation oncology) offer years of experience dedicated to providing patients with high quality care from one of the only completely integrated medical care teams in the state of Washington. Combining efficiency and expertise, this team of specialists meets with the patient individually, evaluates his situation and develops a comprehensive treatment plan — all in a single appointment. As a result, treatment moves forward much faster, which may increase the chances for success.

A single appointment includes:

  • A comprehensive evaluation by multiple specialists
  • A physician team meeting to determine best treatment options
  • A written plan by appointment's end
  • A discussion of the treatment plan with clinic team

We also offer nurse navigation and social work support as part of the clinic services as well.
