This integrated, multidisciplinary approach for patients and
their families provides a collective best course of treatment for
Rockwood Clinic now offers nurse navigation to facilitate the
patient experience. A Nurse Navigator is a
patient educator and advocate, care coordinator, system
navigator, and community ambassador that works to serve as a
gateway to the Rockwood Health System. The Nurse Navigators are
also a support system for the patient and his/her family at the
time of diagnosis, after and through treatment.

Brett L. Gourley, M.D.
Brett L. Gourley, M.D., joined the Rockwood Cancer Treatment Center in September 2014. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and his medical degree from the Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland. Dr. Gourley completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He is board certified in and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is currently board eligible for both hematology and oncology. He is a member of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society, The American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
