Dr. Humble Honored as Valley Hospital's Physician of the Year

The Rockwood Health System's Valley Hospital announced that Dr. Bryon Humble has been selected as the 2016 Physician of the Year.

The annual award, which was presented to him on Doctor's Day, is given to the physician who displays exemplary service to patients, colleagues, Valley Hospital and the community. Physicians are nominated by their colleagues and staff at Valley Hospital, and the final honoree is chosen by the hospital leadership.

"Dr. Humble is not only an excellent physician, he is also an exemplary representative of our hospital," Greg Repetti, CEO of Valley Hospital said. "He provides exceptional care for his patients and it shows."

Humble, who has been with the Rockwood Health System since 2011, is a Navy-veteran who performed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth Virginia and currently serves as a Diplomate for the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

"I'm truly honored to have been selected for this award," Humble explained. "This award is not just for me - it is for my mentors and all who have been a part of my team during my career. I'm proud to be a part of Valley Hospital and I'll continue to enjoy serving this great community."
